Welcome to the Three Counties Sporting Club web site, which features a list of shooting venues and dates, an up to date newsletter and some useful links.
The Club uses the military ranges at Ponteland, near Newcastle Airport and Otterburn in Northumberland and there is a list of shooting dates on the 'Dates' page.
Visitors holding a current FAC are welcome at the Clubs' shoots, but from 1st January 2009 anyone shooting on MoD ranges must carry a current 'Certificate of Safety and Competence'. To qualify for one of these, they have to be a member of a Home Office Approved and/or NRA Affiliated Club on 1st July 2008, or complete an NRA-Approved Training Course.
Membership. There will be some vacancies at the end of April and if you submit an application to the Secretary, it will be considered at the next Committee Meeting. Obtain an application form here
Fees: Member's Annual Subscription for the year commencing 1st April 2020 is now £70. There is a joining fee for new members of £30 to cover the cost of an in-house Training Course and a Certificate of Safety and Competence if required. A cheque payable to the Club for £100 should be attached to your application form, which includes the annual subscription.
Range Fees: £20 for non-members ( full day shoot ), free for paid up members.
Section 21 Declaration - A section 21 declaration may need to be filled in by guests/visitors prior to attending a shoot. Please contact the secretary to see if this is required. The form can be found here
